Westminster Cathedral

General admission · per adult

A richly detailed interior within reach of Victoria and the palace area. It is a good short visit when you want to look closely and enjoy a quieter atmosphere.

What to expect

Cathedral entry is free. The tower is a separate £10 adult visit, sold through the shop, normally Wednesday–Sunday. Respect services; this is Westminster Cathedral, distinct from Westminster Abbey.

Price, without the small print

Free · per adult. General admission. Transport, food and optional extras are outside this activity price.

Before you go

We check details against official sources, but hours, prices and availability can change before this guide is updated. Please check the official website before travelling or booking.

Opening and timing: Cathedral normally daily 7.30am–7pm; consult the service calendar.

Booking: Visit around worship.

Time to allow: 25–45 min. This is our estimate for a focused visit. Add time for travel, queues and any extra stops.

Access and taking a break

The Cathedral provides an induction loop and visitor support. Ask about access to specific chapels and the tower rather than assuming the whole building is step-free.

Go at your own pace; time estimates exclude travel and queues.

We have not audited a complete step-free route. If a particular access feature matters to you, confirm it with the organisation before travelling.
