£5 THE NEIGHBOURHOOD EDITIONS

Westminster
for a Fiver.

Royal London, at your own pace.
Everything below is £5 or less.

Start with the palace approaches and St James’s Park, or choose a short interior visit towards Victoria. A 44-minute palace audio walk costs £4.99, while the park and cathedral below are free to enter. Art in Trafalgar Square and Millbank is a longer nearby choice, not a stop beside the palace gates.

Choose a period or follow the pictures that catch your eye. The free collection is a generous cultural outing in its own right, especially when rain makes a longer walk less appealing.

Only have a few minutes?

If you are already beside St James’s Park, a short stroll or a pause is a simple free choice. For a little history instead, check Cobble for a nearby scene and start with three free scenes in the app. This is a flexible story break, separate from the longer palace Walk.

Put a plan together

With a spare hour after the palace, choose the park or the short Cobble Walk. With longer, follow your onward direction: Westminster Cathedral towards Victoria, galleries towards Trafalgar Square, or Tate Britain in Millbank. Do not assume a free church visit includes a paid Abbey or Palace ticket.

How this edition works

We check details against official sources, but hours, prices and availability can change before this guide is updated. Please check the official website before travelling or booking.

We choose worthwhile experiences in the neighbourhood and clearly labelled nearby areas. The limit is £5 per adult or listener for the activity. An offer with a restricted time qualifies only on that basis. Every activity links to practical details, accessibility information and official sources. Cobble experiences are identified when featured.

Individual check dates: 7 September 2026–13 October 2026. Tell us about a correction or another worthwhile idea.
